Statement on Unite the Right 2 Rally

"The George Washington University College Democrats strongly condemn the Unite the Right 2 Rally being held in Washington, D.C. this weekend. White supremacy, racism and discrimination have no place in our country, especially not on our campus. We urge students on campus and counter protesters to show this group that we will not tolerate their behavior or beliefs. As students, regardless of party affiliation, it is on us to create an environment of equality for a more tolerant tomorrow. Safety is our number one priority and we ask students to follow the recommendations of the GW Division of Safety and Security, GW Police Department and the Metropolitan Police Department."
